DISCOVERY CANYON

Vacation Bible School

July 13 - 17

9 am - Noon

Ages 4 to 12

 

Summer is just around the corner, and here at St. Andrew’s we’re planning an exciting Bible Camp adventure – set in Discovery Canyon!

Grab your hiking boots and join in a week of:

  • high-action games

  • “rockin” songs

  • wacky skits

  • Bible stories

  • yummy snacks

  • cool crafts

  • exploring and discovering in the Science room

  • and making new friends!

A typical “Discovery Canyon” day begins with Campers and Leaders gathering together for an Opening Celebration.  There everyone will learn lively songs with fun actions and explore the story for the day.  After Opening Celebration, Campers and Guides gather in their groups to experience the activity sites: Cavern Crafts, Gully Games, Red Rock Rhythm, Sagebrush Storytelling, Shadow Science and the Snack Canteen. The activities at each site are designed to connect with the Bible Story for the day.  After visiting the sites, Groups gather for a Closing Celebration – to sing, to celebrate their day and share what they’ve discovered along the way!

There is no charge to attend – but pre-registration is very helpful!
