A little bit about our history...
St. Andrew’s Newmarket has existed for over 190 years. It consists of the fusion of two beautiful buildings located at the intersection of Main and Water streets. The old sanctuary was built in 1875 (prior to the inception of Newmarket as a town in 1880) and the new sanctuary was dedicated in 1992. Anchored at the base of Main St., St. Andrew’s has been an important part of local history and the Main Street skyline. Both sanctuaries have also played an integral role in the life of St. Andrew’s. They are a place of prayer, song, and blessing. They are a place where we are particularly aware of God’s holy presence as we listen for his word.
